Steelers running back Ben Roethlisberger was carted off the field following a Sunday night game against the Bengals.

The Steelers (7-6) went into halftime trailing, 20-3, and the Bengals (8-5) scored first, 24-21.

With a touchdown from Roethisberger, the Steelers would win for the second time in three games, 20 to 17.

They were tied for first in the AFC North and had to travel to Cleveland for a Week 17 showdown against the Browns (7, 8).

They are 8-6 and will host the Baltimore Ravens (7).

Steelers cornerback Stephon Tuitt was taken out of the game with an injury, and running back Antonio Brown (knee) did not return.

They are 4-5.

TE Ladarius Green left the game in the third quarter with an ankle injury.

RB Le’Veon Bell missed a game-ending 2nd-quarter run and left the field with a hamstring injury.

Safety T.J. Ward (ankle) and CB Antonio Cromartie (kicks) also left.

QB Ben Roam, the first-team All-Pro, completed 22 of 28 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns.

He had his best game of the season.

Roam completed 18 of 27 passes for 243 yards and one touchdown in his final game as a member of the Steelers, a 27-17 victory over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

The Bengals are 7-5 and have a bye next week.
